The 2007BC Lions season was the 50th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and 54th season overall. They finished 1st in West Division with a 14–3–1 record. They were defeated in the Western Final 26–17 by the Saskatchewan Roughriders, ending their hopes of repeating their Grey Cup Championship.

Smith's two third-quarter touchdowns rallied the Grey Cup-champion BC Lions to a 24–22 win Thursday over the Argonauts in the first game of the CFL season.
