The 2010 ITF Futures tournaments were tennis tournaments held by the ITF Men's Circuit. It was 534 regular series tournaments, which allow for players to win career titles and improve their rankings. Futures were held in both singles and doubles, and last only one week. They contained qualifying rounds so that players who were not ranked can gain ATP ranking points. Several hundred Futures events were held each year. As of 2008, the prize fund for each tournament was either US$10,000 or US$15,000.<br /><br />Futures represented the bottom rung of the professional tennis ladder, below Challenger events.
