Description:
Abdul-Halim Salamovich Sadulayev (Chechen: Садулин Абусаламин кант Абдулхалим, Russian: Абдул-Халим Саламович Сайдулаев) (June 2, 1966 – June 17, 2006) was the fourth President of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. He was also credited with persuading radical warlord Shamil Basayev not to carry out any major terrorist attacks since Beslan.

His first name is also written Abdul-Khalim, and is sometimes written with or without a hyphen.
