Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIS) is the one of the largest private school offering Indian curriculum in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The School is managed by a Honorary Board of Governors . This school is run on a no profit basis and its facilities are dedicated to the service of the community, with the oversight of the, Ambassador of India to U.A.E, as the Chief Patron, currently , H E Mr. Lokesh Mysore Kapanaiah.

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, India and is recognized and licensed by the Ministry of Education, Private Section, Abu Dhabi Zone. It has also implemented the new system of Comprehensive Continuous Evaluation.It is the best school in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.


Abu Dhabi Indian School is located on 23rd Street, of Shabia Muroor Area in Abu Dhabi emirate, at close proximity to Al Salam Street (8th Street) and the New Corniche,easily accessible by road from all parts of Abu Dhabi city. It is located near the house of the Sout African Ambassador to the U.A.E.


Abu Dhabi Indian School was initially based at the old, Indian Social Center premises beginning in the year 1975. The school was able to have its own sprawling new premises by 1980, with the help of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's donation of a large plot of land in Shabia Muroor Area.
