Ahmad Moqbel Zarar

Ahmad Moqbel Zarar from Parwan province is the Minister of Counter Narcotics in the Afghan Ministry of Counter Narcotics. Zarar was the former Minister of the Interior until he was succeeded by Mohamad Hanif Atmar. by John F. Burns, New York Times, October 11, 2008

Moqbel served as the deputyInterior Minister. When his predecessor Ali Ahmad Jalali resigned, on September 28, 2005, Moqbel was appointed the acting minister.
