History
Formerly known as the Angeles City National High School - Special Science Class, the school has been chosen as one of the 110 Science and Technology High Schools in the Philippines. The school current;y has 13 classrooms, a computer laboratory, a covered court, a math laboratory, a research laboratory, a science laboratory, a library, and a MAKABAYAN building. The old science laboratory put up in 1995 is now named the Benedicto G. Tablante Building, in honor of Mr. Benedicto G. Tablante. A new laboratory was put up in front of the Audio Visual Room.
The Pioneer batch
Dr. Wilfredo S. Ocampo, then a science teacher in the Pandan campus of Angeles City National High School, was sent by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to attend a training program in Malaysia. A Special Science Class class was started, with him as coordinator of the program. The pioneer batch was composed of 120 students, all of which are passers of the imposed DOST requirement. The students were divided into three sections, namely Argon, Boron, and Carbon.
