Anjaam (Hindi: अंजाम, Urdu: انجام, Translation: "Consequence") is an Indian Bollywood movie released on 22 April 1994, directed by Rahul Rawail. It stars Madhuri Dixit and Shahrukh Khan in pivotal roles. Actors Deepak Tijori, Himani Shivpuri, Tinnu Anand, Kalpana Iyer and Kiran Kumar appear in supporting roles. The music was composed by Anand-Milind with lyrics written by Sameer.

This was the first time that Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit were paired together. The film was a box office failure, but the lead stars got favourable reviews. Madhuri Dixit earned a Filmfare Best Actress nomination for her role but won the award for her performance in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun...!. Shahrukh Khan received the Filmfare Award for Best Villain for his performance. He was nominated for the same award the previous year for his performance in Yash Chopra's Darr.


Vijay Agnihotri comes from a wealthy family and is very spoilt. He meets Shivani whom he instantly falls in love with but she tells him she does not love him – this does not stop Vijay and he continues to pursue her, only to be rejected every time. Vijay informs his mother that he intends to marry Shivani. When Vijay and his mother approach Shivani’s family with a proposal, they witness Shivani marry another man named Ashok. Vijay is now heartbroken. Shivani and Ashok decide to move to America.
