Archbishop Bergan High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Fremont, Nebraska, United States. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha.

Background

Archbishop Bergan High School was established in 1950 as St. Patrick's High School. It was renamed Bergan Catholic when the school relocated to its current location in 1960.In 2010, they remade a building for the grade school. The classes are K-5th, but in 2011- 2012 school year, the 6th grade is moving from the High School to the elementary school.

Athletics

Archbishop Bergan is a member of the Nebraska School Activities Association. They have won the following NSAA State Championships :

  • Boys Football - Champion: 1979-1980 (Runner-Up - 1990-1991, 2008–2009, 2010)
  • Girls Volleyball - none (Runner-Up - 1988, 2004)
  • Boys Basketball - Champion: 1979-1980, 1986–1987, 2007-2008 (Runner-Up - 2009-2010-2011)
  • Girls Basketball - none (Runner-Up - 1988)
  • Boys Cross Country - none (Runner-Up - 1980)
  • Boys Golf - Champion: 2009 (Runner-Up - 2007, 2008, 2010)
