Arsenic menace in and around Kolkata

A recent report of the School of Environmental Studies(SOES), Jadavpur University, Kolkata, on the ground water condition of Kolkata says that a major part under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation is under a severe Arsenic problem. The administration as well as the scientists in particular should look into the matter with deep concern so as to sort out the problem of the arsenic menace in this part of India.
