Bamidele A. Ojo is a professor of political science and international studies and teaches African politics, terrorism and political violence, geography and world issues, human rights, international law, terrorism and globalization at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. A Professor of Political Science, he received his degrees, BSc Political Science, MSc International Relations and Diploma in French from the University of Ife, Nigeria (now Obafemi Awolowo University). He also received an Mphil (DEA) African Studies and PhD Political Science from the University of Bordeaux in France. Dr Ojo also received an LLM international Law from the University of Nottingham, England and a DIHL International Humanitarian law among other degrees.

Areas of expertise

His areas of expertise includes globalization, democratization, African politics, Terrorism and human rights. Recent research and publications also include Nigerian politics, globalization and global transformation of terror.His recent classes (graduate and undergraduate) at FDU includes, Human Rights in a Global Environment, Terrorism and Political Violence, Africa In World Affairs, Colonialism, Imperialism and Dependency, Political and Economic Challenges In Africa, Geography and World Issues, Problems In International Politics and The African State.
