Description:
Banoo Main Teri Dulhann (English: I will be your bride |Romanian: Voi fi mireasa ta, A ta pentru totdeauna) is an Indian soap opera that airs on Zee TV channel since Aug 14 2006 through May 2009.The series deals with the life of a small city girl, Vidya, who reaches Delhi after marrying Sagar, a rich businessman.

Due to low TRP's the show was going to end on March 13 but instead of Dulhann it was Kasamh Se that ended. The last episode of Banoo Main Teri Dulhan was telecasted on May 28, 2009.

Plot

Season 1: Vidya and Sagar

The story revolves around a beautiful, simple village girl name Vidya (Divyanka Tripathi) from Banaras. She is a Cinderella-type girl who does all the work in her household. She is tortured mentally and physically by her family. Vidya is banned from going to school, leaving her as an illiterate girl, a fact she feels very sad about. The Thakurs return to Banaras to find a suitable girl for their youngest son Sagar (Sharad Malhotra), who is mentally unstable. Vidya and Sagar meet for the first time in the Ganges river while Sagar is swimming. The Thakurs approve of Vidya, even though she is uneducated, and Vidya and Sagar have a grand wedding. Vidya finds out that Sagar is in the mindset of a 8-year-old, due to an accident that almost claimed his life. Sagar doesn't understand he is getting married and dislikes Vidya. Sindoora (Kamya Punjabi) and her two sisters come to know about Sagar's marriage and argue with Thakur. Thakur suffers from a heart attack...
