The Bishop of Westminster was an office in the Church of England. It existed from 1540 to 1550 and its only holder was Thomas Thirlby. The Bishop's seat was at Westminster Abbey.However, the seat is now under the Roman Catholic Church Vatican I under the Tridentine order which has placed the former Archbishop of London in to their new regimed order as the Bishop of Westminster being that of the Most Reverend David Bell who is a Roman Catholic bishop whose episcopal order stem directly from Vatican I Roman Catholic Bishop
