Bison Transport is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.<br />

Bison Transport was incorporated in 1969 by owner Duncan M. Jessiman, who continues to provide leadership to the Company as Chairman and sole shareholder. Utilizing specialized equipment, Bison began providing local cartage services to the construction industry and was then awarded the catalogue business first for Eaton's and then Sears. Bison has grown from just 18 tractors and 32 employees to over 1050 power units and 3000 trailers and is supported by a team of 1600 professional drivers and transportation experts.

Bison Transport operates 6 key terminal hubs in Canada, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Mississauga, Ontario, Edmonton, Alberta, Calgary, Alberta, Regina, Saskatchewan and Kelowna, British Columbia. Bison staff and professional drivers provide cross-border truckload transportation services from British Columbia through the Maritimes and to 48 U.S. states.<br />

Bison’s six divisions include: Dry Van, Long Combination Vehicle (LCV), Refrigerated, Intermodal, Asset-Based Logistics and Warehousing and Distribution.
