Robert 'Bob' Egerton born 6 March 1963 Lae, New Guinea was an Australian International Rugby Player whose short-lived career at the very highest level of the game was timed to perfection. Rob won only nine caps for the Wallabies, all in a 13 week spell in 1991, with his final appearance coming in the biggest game in the sport - the Rugby World Cup final. He helped Australia to a 12-6 victory that day against England at Twickenham, bringing to an end a short - but very sweet - international career.

He worked as a Biology teacher at the Sydney Grammar School but left in 2010 to take up the position as Team Manager of the Wallabies
