"Breathe" is a country song by American recording artist Faith Hill, released as the first single from her 1999 album of the same name. The song was written by Stephanie Bentley and Holly Lamar. "Breathe" became Hill's 7th number one on the country music charts in the US. The song spent four weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country chart in December 1999 and January 2000. It also peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May 2000, having been blocked by "Maria Maria". It has also become Faith Hill's most successful single to date.
