Burford School is a mixed secondary comprehensive school in Burford, Oxfordshire (England). The school was founded in 1571

The school is located at the southern end of Burford. Given that Burford sits at near equal distances from the towns of Witney and Carterton, and close to villages such as the Wychwoods, the school has a large catchment area. More than a thousand students study at Burford, and numbers are increasing for entrants and applicants to the large Sixth Form, at which students can study new A-level such as Law and Economics, amongst others such as English.

The school's location provides students with easy and convenient access to Burford, where the Boarding House, Lenthall House ( or ), is situated. The boarding house accepts many international students, largely from Hong Kong.

Means of separation

The students are separated in a general English School System way. Each "Year Group" is divided into 8 or so "Form Groups". These Form Groups have around 30 pupils. The Form Groups will have a Form Tutor, who will register and look after the pupils. The Head Of Year deals with issues...
