Burn Hall School

fathers/missionaries of Ireland.
Burn Hall School was founded in the year 1956 and celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2006. It is a boys school and ranks amongst the best schools in the valley. The Education Society of Jammu- Srinagar Diocese as registered Charitable Society directs the school and the school has permanent recognition from J&K State Board of School Education as well as the J&K Government Education Department. The higher secondary division was opened during its Golden Jubilee celebration in 2006. The campus is monitored 24/7 by CCTV cameras and was the first in India to aqcuire it.
Burn Hall School continually strives for excellence in studies, in personality formation and in interpersonal and inter-communal harmonious relationships.
Under the Management of Jammu Srinagar Diocese , the higher secondary block was introduced in the school in 2006. For that a new building was constructed as an addition to the main building. Presently science and commerce are being taught.
Fr. Jeykumar, the present principal, is also the Chairman of Jammu - Srinagar Diocesan Education Board. He has updated the higher Secondary school block by installing cameras, projectors, touch sensitive boards and high speed internet access which is available to the students.
