Chanda Sandipan

Chanda Sandipan (born 13 August 1983) is a chess Grandmaster hailing from the city of Kolkata (Calcutta) in the Indian state of West Bengal. Chanda became grandmaster in 2003. He played for India in the Chess Olympiads of 2004, 2006 and 2008.. He is No. 4 in India after Viswanathan Anand, Krishnan Sasikiran, and Pendyala Harikrishna, No. 11 in Asia, and ranked 92nd in the world as per FIDE rating as on July 2011.
