Alexander David Michael Bruce
(born July 1948 in Shimla, India) is an entrepreneur and has been involved in the international brewing and leisure industry for over 40 years, in a career that has covered both production and retailing.
David Bruce, 61, began his career in 1966 brewing with both Courage Ltd and Theakston's Brewery for 6 years. This was immediately followed by 6 years licensed retail experience with Charram Ltd and The Star Group of Companies.

The chain grew to 10 pubs by the late 1980s; at which time Bruce sold the Firkins to a national company which expanded the chain across the UK. Since then, Bruce has helped a number of Brewing businesses, including the Brooklyn Brewery in New York, The Wynkoop Brewery in Denver, Colorado and The Paris Real Ale Brewery S.A (now ).
David is currently Executive Chairman of , a multi-site farm shop business founded by Gordon Leatherdale. The Country Food and Dining Group of Companies has now raised over £6... Read More
