Deva Kaushik Katta is an Indian-born American-resident filmmaker from Telugu Cinema.He won Filmfare Best Critic Film Award for Prasthanam

Career

He holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and was a vehicle crashworthiness expert.

He has graduated from a film school before making a digital documentary film about Indian students in USA, which was titled Valasa. He then debuted as a successful writer & director on the big screen with Vennela. After a break of about five years, the Telugu film industry witnessed his come back with critically acclaimed Prasthanam, starring Sharvanand and Sai Kumar.
