The Chelsea manager Roberto di Matteo has said that he is annoyed following two more dropped points in the Premier League. Chelsea vs Liverpool during the weekend was one of the tough matches. Hence, Chelsea needed to be at their best in order to get past a Liverpool team that has always done well against the Londoners. Due to the fact that Manchester United had managed a 3-2 win over Aston Villa on Saturday, three points from this fixture was extremely crucial. However, Chelsea could only manage a 1-1 draw in the match after Luis Suarez scored a second-half header to cancel out the opener from John Terry.
After the match, the Chelsea manager criticised the officials once again after they failed to spot a clear push on the defensive midfielder Ramires before Luis Suarez scored from the header. He has said that it was clear foul and the goal should not have been allowed to stand. The Brazilian midfielder Oscar and the Spaniard Juan Mata missed great opportunities for the team to increase their advantage following the goal from John Terry in the first half. This draw means that Chelsea have taken just two points from the last three matches in the Premier league.
"Carragher flicked it on and then Ramires got a little push from Suarez just to get free - he was with him - it just created a bit of space for him," said di Matteo after the match. Chelsea now face a lot of difficulties in order to catch the two Manchester clubs.
