Do Aur Do Paanch (1980 film)

Do Aur Do Paanch is a 1980 Hindi movie produced by C. Dhandyadupani and directed by Rakesh Kumar. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Parveen Babi, Shashi Kapoor, Hema Malini, Shreeram Lagoo, Om Prakash and Kader Khan.

Plot

Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) and Sunil (Shashi Kapoor) are petty thieves. They don't go well with each other. Their respective boss command them to go to a school where their task is to abduct rich man Seth Mathur (Shreeram Lagoo) son and bring him so as to demand a huge ransom from his father. Vijay and Sunil fake their identity and join the school in the name of Ram and Lakshman respectively. Vijay/Ram is appointed as a Sports Coach while Sunil/Lakshman as a Music Teacher. On their journey towards the task, Vijay/Ram meet Anju (Parveen Babi) and Sunil/Lakshman meet Shalu (Hema Malini). Initially both the ladies unaware of their background and motive, fall in love.

Vijay and Sunil get close to Seth Mathur (Shreeram Lagoo) son so as to lure him. But as days pass by, both of them realize their true affection for that boy and drops their plan of abducting him. Meanwhile,Anju and Shalu come to know of their boy friend's true identity and by their words of love and affection change them into good men. Sunil's boss Uncle Jagdish (Kader Khan) loses hope on him and he himself comes up with a plan and abducts the boy. Vijay and Sunil join hands and come together to save the boy from Uncle Jagdish and rescue him at the end.
