Double Negative is a British full-service visual effects/computer animation company located in Soho, London. The company was set up in 1998 with a team of 30 staff and has since grown to over 750 staff, making it Europe's largest provider of visual effects for film.

In 2009, Double Negative opened its Singapore office, the Singapore office works closely with the Double Negative team in London on selected productions.

Recent completed projects include The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Paul, The Sands of Time, The Wolf Man, Kick-Ass, Sherlock Holmes, The Green Zone, Angels & Demons, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, The Boat that Rocked, Fast & Furious, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Part 2. They are currently in production on John Carter of Mars and Attack the Block.

In 2006 Eamonn Butler, a former animator at Walt Disney Feature Animation/The Secret Lab, joined the company and worked as animation supervisor on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, The Golden Army and 10,000 BC. In 2008 he became head of the...
