The England national netball team represent England in international netball competition. The team are presently co-captained by Karen Atkinson and Sonia Mkoloma, and were coached by Australian Sue Hawkins through to the end of the 2011 World Netball Championships in Singapore. As of June 2011, the team are ranked 3rd on the IFNA World Rankings.


England have appeared at every World Championships since their inception in 1963. Most recently, the team competed in the 2007 World Netball Championships in New Zealand, and came fourth, the same placing they achieved at the 2003 World Netball Championships. International netball has been dominated by Australia and New Zealand, although England have had recent victories over both teams, as well as Jamaica, signalling their increasing competitiveness against other elite nations.


2011 team

Twelve players were chosen to represent England at the 2011 World Netball Championships in Singapore. The team roster was announced on 9 May 2011.
