Description:
Fatehpur () is a town of Sikar district in Rajasthan, India. It is part of the Shekhawati region. It is midway between Jaipur and Bikaner on National Highway -11. Fatehpur is famous for grand havelis with frescos, which is speciality of the Shekhawati region.A number of Bawdis are also centres of attraction here.

History

The Muslim Kayamkhani Nawab, Fatehkhan established Fatehpur in 1451. He constructed the fort of Fatehpur in 1449 and ruled up to 1474.

Shekhawat Rajputs took it over in the 18th century.Sanjasar is small village of fatehpur shekhawati near godia bada. aal cast live in sanjasarmostly cast are budania, charan, ganjir, sharma etc.
