First National Bank Kansas is an affiliate bank of First National of Nebraska and is headquartered in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. FNBK was established on April 2, 1993 when FNNI purchased approximately $80 million deposits from a failed financial organization.
First National Bank Kansas acquired College Boulevard National Bank in Overland Park, Kansas, the same day that FNBK was established.
First National Bank understands the importance of community involvement. That's why we are proud to be a visible part of the communities we serve. FNBK can be seen at Old Shawnee Days, the Overland Park Fall Parade or other community activities. Among their charitable involvement is First Downs for Downs Syndrome, Habitat for Humanity, United Way and a monthly "Casual Friday" on which employees may "dress down" for a monetary donation to that month's designated charity.
