Description:
Flowery Field railway station serves the Flowery Field area of Hyde, Greater Manchester. It is 11 km (7 miles) east of Manchester Piccadilly on the Manchester-Glossop Line. The station is managed by Northern Rail.

The station was opened in 1985 and is mainly a wooden structure.

As part of the failed Manchester TIF bid, the station would have been refurbished with CCTV, real-time passenger information and additional seating and shelters. However, the residents of Manchester voted against the congestion charge that would have released government money for these improvements.

Services

There is generally a half-hourly daily service from Flowery Field to Manchester Piccadilly and to Hadfield. Trains operate hourly during evenings and Sundays.
