Aristotle Pollisco (born October 18, 1977), better known by his stage name Gloc-9, is an Awit Award-winning Filipinorapper. His fast-flowing vocal style has made him one of the most successful hip-hop artists in the Philippines. He has won the award for Best Rap Artist at the Philippine Hip-Hop Music Awards for three consecutive years (2005–2007) and has also been recognized by the MYX and MTV Music Awards. He was described by fellow Filipino rapper Francis Magalona as "a blacksmith of words and letters, and a true Filipino poet."
Gloc-9 has also contributed to the soundtracks of several films, including Star Cinema's "Jologs" and "Trip."
Personal life
He is the son of Orlando Pollisco, Sr. and the second of 4 siblings: Sharito (born 1976), Orlando Jr. (born 1978) and Sharon, (born 1982). Aristotle Pollisco was also a registered nurse
