Mahoning County,
Ohio,
United States. The
2000 census found 3,281 people in the township.

Located in the southwestern part of the county, it borders the following townships:
No municipalities are located in Goshen Township, although the
unincorporated community of
Damascus lies in the southwestern part of the township.
Name and history
It is one of seven
Goshen Townships statewide.
For many years, the township was part of
Columbiana County, before becoming part of Mahoning County in 1846.
Government
The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1.
