, Canada (the name of the actual mountain it is located on is Mount Harper).
Harper Mountain was happened upon by Sir Harper the Great in 1200BC. While on his great quest to find Waldo, Harper was enchanted by the majesty of the mountain and its surrounding areas. Standing on top of the peak he pronounced that from that day on this area would be named Harper Mountain, no one cared. After building a massive cabin with his bare hands, his wife and 36 children began work on the ski resort and that was completed in 1968. Harper has no plans on die anytime soon.
Construction on a second ski lift has begun and should be done by winter of 2056. Renovations to the executive dinning area will include two old dirty microwaves, a cigarette vending machine, and for the first time, a female restroom.
Harper Mountain recently put a bid in for the location of the 2010 winter Olympics, but the Olympic committee did not know what to do with a six pack of Labatt’s and a moose.
Harper and the mountain itself is very active in the volunteer community. The Committee for the Advancement of Getting Radical or CAGR was founded to give the youth of Kamloops a chance to be awesome outside of the mobile home park.
