Hawai‘i Pacific Health is a Honolulu-based nonprofit health care system that is the largest health care provider in the state of Hawai‘i. It operates four hospitals, 44 outpatient clinics and service sites, and has more than 1,300 affiliated physicians.

Network of Care

The Hawai'i Pacific Health network is anchored by its four nonprofit hospitals: Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, Kapi‘olani Medical Center at Pali Momi, Straub Clinic & Hospital, and Wilcox Memorial Hospital.

Together, they have leading strategic initiatives in women's health, pediatric care, cardiovascular services, cancer care, and bone & joint services. Other affiliates and subsidiaries:

History

Hawai‘i Pacific Health was formed in December 2001 with the merger of four hospitals: Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, Kapi‘olani Medical Center at Pali Momi, Straub Clinic & Hospital, and Wilcox Memorial Hospital.

Electronic medical records

Hawai‘i Pacific Health ranks among the top 3.8 percent of hospitals nationwide in adopting electronic medical records (EMR).

Community partner

  • Hawai‘i Pacific Health provided $108 million in community benefit in fiscal year 2009. This included $10 million in charity and uncompensated care.
