The song received multiple reviews from critics. The music video is also included on Tisdale's There's Something About Ashley DVD. The single was certified gold by the RIAA for sales of 500,000 copies and it became the album's final single in the United States.

The song is featured in the film In It to Win It. It was released to U.S. radios in February 2007 before "Be Good to Me" was released, since song was originally going to be the first single.
