Hoddesdon Town F.C. is an football club based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, England,playing their home matches at Lowfield. They were established in 1879 and are the third oldest club in Hertfordshire.
Hoddesdon were the inaugural winners of the FA Vase in 1975.
They were among the founder members of the Spartan South Midlands League in 1997, playing in the Premier Division North, but have since been relegated to Division One of that league.
Stadium
Hoddesdon Town have played at Lowfield since 1879 and have shared it with the local cricket club since 1899. The ground was originally part of the High Leigh Estate, but was purchased for the town in 1924. The clubhouse was erected in the 1950s but completely refurbished in 2002. The main stand incorporates 100 seats from Burnden Park, the former home of Bolton Wanderers.
