How do you write a tune we've never done it before? Songwriting isn't some natural and heritability that everyone has the reality is that something that you develop over time through practice and repetition. Right currently I am going to speak about how you write a song out of nothing from the ground up.
There are 2 ways to start the tune to which you choose is up to you. They per each have their benefits and drawbacks so all identified both as this will substantially get you started.
Your first option is to begin lyrics are for music. Some songwriters like to start off with the lyrics because they find it easier to match the music when you have existing lyrics to put it to. This could be the stimulus for creating music. Some people are more visual that way so they like to read a line of lyrics and try singing different melodies over top of it.
On the other hand, you can begin with music and then build lyrics to match that music. Most songwriters go with this method for a variety of reasons. One reason is that as soon as you have your music it's a good deal easier to know how a lot space you'll have her live lyrically and what you can accommodate lyrically.to come up with your initial melody you can on different lines or just sing some random placeholder lyrics as I like to call them which you can swap out later for the real thing.
I personally like a technique that is somewhat in the middle which I preached especially beginners.
I like to start off with a title for my tune and then come up with my initial line of melody from that title. I like to come up with a unique title particularly, one that you would not associate with any other tune previously and try different notes over those syllables and words that make up that title. Once I've an initial melody that I like I can branch out to the adjoining sections and come up with those subsequently as if to let simpler to do when you have already established that initial melody.
After you have your melody you can begin to consider what might flow into that melody which would be your pre-chorus and what might flow out of your melody which would be the following verse or perhaps a musical interlude.
