This is used to set up the page size and orientation of the paper in Microsoft Word.2Measure the width and height of the card on the side the wedding information will appear. Add 1 inch to the width measurement to use as the left hand margin.3Open Microsoft Word. Click on "File" then '"Page Setup." Click on the "Page Size" tab and click "Landscape" for orientation. Set the width and height of the page according to the dimensions of the card.4Click on the "Margins" tab. Place the following numbers in the margin settings: 1 inch for the top, bottom and right side. Type the width measurement obtained in Step 2 for the lefthand margin. Click "OK."5Set page justification to center justification. Find the three boxes for page justification on the tool bar. Click on the middle box in page justification.6Click on the font type and size. Select the desired font. Start with a font size of 18 and adjust according to taste.7Type the wedding information on the righthand side of the page within the margin settings. Adjust the font size and spacing according to personal preference.8Cut a piece of printer paper the same dimensions as the open blank wedding invitation card. Print a sample copy and make any desired changes. Save the completed document. Begin printing the inside information on the cards once the design is satisfactory.Exterior Card Design9Delete the wedding information from the right hand side of the card design. Click "File" and select "Save As." Save the next design as "summer wedding invitations front."10Click on "Insert." Click on "Text Box." Place the cursor at the top lefthand corner where the picture will be placed. Pull the corner of the text box toward the bottom righthand corner margin to create the size of the desired area for picture placement.11Place the cursor on the shaded text box line and right click the mouse. A box will open. Click on "Format Text Box." Find "Line" and click on the arrow next to "Color." Choose "No Line." Click "OK."12Click inside the text box. Click "Insert" and choose either "Clip Art" or "Picture from File." Adjust the picture to the proper size by placing the cursor on a corner point and either push or pull the picture to the desired size.13Place the sample printing showing the wedding information in the printer the same way it came out. Print a sample page. The picture will appear on the opposite side of the page in the proper position for folding. Adjust the paper placement if this does not occur.
