Hyderabadi Urdu (
Urdu: حیدرآبادی اردو) is a dialect of
Urdu spoken in
Hyderabad, India especially by
Hyderabadi Muslims. It is considered one of the many
Deccani Urdu dialects. It is a dialect of
Hindustani (
Hindi and
Urdu), with many words and influence from
Arabic,
Turkish and
Persian. Linguistically, it is notable for its mixing of the
Indo-Aryan languages of the
North (
Hindustani) with the
Dravidian languages of the
South (
Telugu). This dialect can be understood very easily by most
Hindi or
Urdu - speakers, but it is difficult for non-native speakers to use it themselves.<br />
The Considerable influence of the other Non Hindustani languages such as
Arabic,
Turkish and
Persian, this can be attributed from Many Settlements from these regions.In
Hyderabad's historic past,

Irani Chai, which is now a part of Hyderabadi lifestyle.The Marathi had a lot of influence due to Maratha rule in the past. Also the nearness to Vidharbha region of Maharashtra and presence of Marathi dominated regions of the Telengana region of Andhra Pradesh, to which Hyderabad belongs, there is a lot of exposure to Marathi, leading to the influence of Marathi on Hyderabadi Urdu.
