Immaculate Conception School (Secaucus, New Jersey)

Immaculate Conception School (ICS) was a Catholic private day school in Secaucus, New Jersey. The school teaches grades Pre-K through 8th grade. Immaculate Conception School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The school's principal is Beverly Trotte. Unfortunately, it closed down in June 2009.

Academics

ICS teaches the basic subjects of History, Math, and English, as well as activities called "Specials". Specials include Art, Music, Computers, Spanish, and Physical education.

Technology

Every classroom contains a television and a computer. ICS has a computer lab and its own weather station, whose readings are accessible from the school website.

Extracurricular activities

ICS offers these student activities:

• Girl's volleyball,
• Girl's cheerleading,
• News Letter Committee, for discussing the contents of the monthly newsletter, which contains information about the town as well as the school,
• Safety Patrol Squad, whose members help younger students walk to class.
