Improve things in the developing world

As a person who has travelled around the world I wonder why things are so bad in the countries of the developing world. These are my views and ideas about why things are the way they are and how they can be improved. Though the focus is on India because the author is from there, but what is said here applies equally to any other place in the devloping world.
