Indian Rugby Football Union () is the governing body for rugby union in India. It was founded in 1968 and became affiliated to the International Rugby Board in 2001. In April 2009 the Indian Rugby Football Union changed its name to Rugby India and its logo became a sun. In 2009 Rugby India for the first time fielded National Teams at Men's, Under 20, and Women's Rugby. The teams competed in international rugby tournaments throughout Asia and the rest of the world.
