The Department is separated into five offices which include:

- Office of Administrative Services
- Office of Criminal Investigations
- Office of Special Enforcement
- Office of Patrol Services.
The current Chief of Police as of October 2007 is Jacqueline Seabrooks who replaced the Interim Chief of Police Julius Davis.
The Inglewood Police Department is located at One Manchester Blvd. Inglewood, California. which is located in the City's Civic Center at Manchester Boulevard and La Brea Avenue. Inglewood Police Officers attend the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Academy known as "STARS" Center.
