Intellectual Property Institute

The Intellectual Property Institute, or IP Institute, is a British non-profit making organisation with the mission of promoting "awareness and understanding of intellectual property law". Its board members include Ron Marchant, former head of the United Kingdom Patent Office, as of 2007. Its council members include Jeremy Phillips. Late Hugh Laddie was also a board member. . It was chaired from 1999 to 2011 by Ian Harvey, who was succeeded in June 2011 by Alison Brimelow, former President of the European Patent Office.
