Ira Bowman (born June 11, 1973 in Newark, New Jersey) is a retired American professional basketball player formerly in the NBA.

He attended Providence College and the University of Pennsylvania, by Lynn Zinser - The Sporting News, published Nov. 27, 1995 but was not selected in an NBA Draft. He played for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Atlanta Hawks from 1999 to 2001, as well as Grand Rapids Hoops of the Continental Basketball Association in 2002. He also played 13 games with the Australian NBL's Gold Coast Rollers in 1996., Accessed October 21, 2007.
