The
J. Mack Robinson College of Business is one of the six colleges at
Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Robinson’s premier programs - the Flex M.B.A., Professional M.B.A., Executive M.B.A., Specialized Master's programs and undergraduate program - are all ranked among the best in the nation. The
US News & World Report's most recent "America's Best Graduate Schools" survey of all business schools that offer part-time master's (MBA, M.S.) programs puts Robinson College in the top eight percent of all business schools in the U.S. The 2011 edition also lists Robinson's Department of Computer Information Systems 10th in the nation in the Information Systems speciality programs category. Robinson's Health Services Administration program remains ranked at 34th; the category is only ranked in alternate years and does not appear in 2011.
In August 2010, Robinson's Risk Management and Insurance program was ranked third in the nation by
U.S. News & World Report, which also ranked the Management (computer) Information Systems program the seventh best and the Real Estate program the 11th best. The Computer Information Systems department has been ranked first in the world for research productivity in a study published in 2006 in
Communications of the Association for Information Systems.
