James FitzGerald-Kenney
(1 January 1878 – 21 October 1956) was an Irish politician and
Senior Counsel
. He was first elected at the
June 1927 general election
as a
Cumann na nGaedheal
Teachta Dála
(TD) for the
Mayo
constituency. He was appointed to the
Cabinet
on his first year in
Dáil Éireann
as
Minister for Justice
. He was re-elected at every election until he lost his seat at the
1944 general election
. He subsequently retired from politics.
