John Paul II Catholic High School, located in
Tallahassee, Florida, first opened up in the fall of 2001. It is located in the
Roman Catholic Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee. It is the first Catholic high school to be founded in Tallahassee. The first graduating class was in
2004, with the first charter class graduating the next year, in
2005. John Paul II has a campus that includes a fully equipped gymnasium, chapel, main building, soccer field, and baseball field; with plans of new construction in the next decade.
Mission statement
It's the mission of John Paul II Catholic High to provide an affordable college preparatory curriculum within a Christ-centered Catholic environment. This mission encompasses the education of the whole person - spirit, mind and body- within the tradition of the Catholic Church.

Athletics
John Paul II High School's mascot is Pep the Panther, and their colors are Blue and Gold. JPII has fourteen athletic teams: seven boys teams and seven girls teams.
