Josef Ackermann

Josef Ackermann (born February 7, 1948) is a Swiss banker and chief executive officer of Deutsche Bank.

Ackermann agreed at the end of 2009 to continue as chief executive of Deutsche Bank for another three years until 2013.

Ackermann is a graduate of the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He was born in Mels, Canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

According to the Financial Times Deutschland Ackermann earned €9.4m in 2009 and €8.8m in 2010. His included bonus in 2009 was €8.2m and €7.1m in 2010.
