Juliana Farha (born 1966) is a
Canadian born journalist and businesswoman who lives in London, England.
She was educated at the
University of Trinity College in the
University of Toronto and at
Ryerson University in
Toronto. Juliana Farha worked at CBC Radio in Toronto and was Editor-in-Chief of Watch, a youth culture magazine. She earned her Master's degree at
Goldsmiths College, University of London.
She is the founder and Managing Director of Dilettante Music, an online community for classical musicians and listeners. Previously she worked as marketing director for the Kun shoulder rest company in Ottawa Canada. In March 2010, she was named one of 50 'Women to Watch' in the United Kingdom cultural and creative sectors by the Cultural Leadership Programme.
She writes occasionally for
the Guardian Comment is Free website, In the past she has written for various publications including Strings magazine. Juliana Farha is a fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA). She is also a member of The Fawcett Society and
Liberty, and she supports other civil liberties organisations.
