Jyoti Singh Randhawa (born 4 May 1972) is an Indian professional golfer who was ranked in the top 100 of the world and is the third-highest Indian in the world rankings.
Early life
Randhawa was born in New Delhi. He was a natural athlete right from the very beginning and excelled in sports, such as swimming and shooting. It was in 1986 that he got hooked to golf, after winning the national sub-junior title. However, it was the All India Amateur Championship in 1993 that made Randhawa come closer to his destiny - that of being a professional golf player. Randhawa not only won the Championship title, but also turned professional in the game.
Career
Randhawa turned professional in 1994. He participates on the Asian Tour and the European Tour. In 2002, he finished top on the Asian Tour money list. His best finish on the European Tour is tied second in the 2004 Johnnie Walker Classic.
Personal life
Randhawa is married to a movie actress Chitrangada Singh and they have a son.
