Karhana

Karhana or Kahrana was one of the ruling clans of Gurjars (or Gujjar)s in India.The Karhana Gurjars is of Kushan Era. They were rulers of Karhana known as Loulan Kingdom ( Old name Kroraina) which was situated on silk road.

They are found in Rajasthan, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh. Palwal In haryana, they have more than 16 villages near bhadurgarh in jhajjar district.Karhana Gurjars also in huge number in shajapur and near ujjain in MadhyaPradesh.Some of the notable Karhanas includes common wealth athlete Omprakash Singh Karhana and Ex minister of MP Mr Hukum singh Karada or karahana.
