Karin Iten

Karin Iten (August 11, 1956 – May 18, 2010) was a Swiss figure skater. She won the bronze medal at the 1973 European Figure Skating Championships. "Ice princess Karin Iten is dead" (in German) She died on May 18, 2010 in Winterthur.

She was the inventor of the Biellmann spin, which was later named after Denise Bielmann, who made this spin famous.
